The return of MS Dhoni was supposed to be one of the major highlights of Indian Premier League 2020. It was back during 2019 World Cup semi-finals when he last played. Now, his comeback was an event that almost every cricket fan of India is looking forward to. Fortunately, a number of his fans got the chance to witness him in action at Chepauk Stadium.
Dhoni’s fans have to wait longer for his comeback to the field
Unfortunately, the fans who could not be at the stadium will have to wait a while longer. Due to the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, the cash-rich League is now initiating on April 15th. Even though this is a tentative date, fans are keeping their hopes high. Due to this, even MS Dhoni cut short his practice and bid farewell to the stadium.

If IPL 2020 gets cancelled due to the Coronavirus threat, it’ll become difficult for Dhoni to make a comeback. Apparently, IPL 2020 was going to be the event where the selection committee would judge his form and skills. Now that there is a chance of this event not happening, things seem to be taking a downward slope.

It is hopeful that the 13th edition of Indian Premier League will take place on the 15th of April. If the Government of India does not revoke the ban on foreign visas, then it’s another issue. The essence of IPL is the gathering all global players. It is the annual cricket carnival of the world.
