Some interesting excerpts from the interview:

Q: Are you the happiest when you’re behind the wheel?
A: Yea, that or when I’m listening to some live music.

Q: What’s the best thing about being an Australian?
A: I think we’re just chill, we’re laidback.

Q: When was the last time you cried?
A: I was very close last week in Austin, but for reasons you wouldn’t expect. I was watching this lady perform on her guitar and it was powerful. I was really moved.

Q: What was the last time you cried watching a movie?
A: I was on a plane, and I always get vulnerable when I’m on a plane. I was watching Fault in our Stars. It was a chick flick, but very emotional.

Q: If you could be anyone, who would you be?
A: Since I love music, I would love to be a musician, rockstar, DJ, or something. I would just to see what its like to lead a musician’s life.

How can someone not love Daniel Ricciardo?
