Death Stranding: Hideo Kojima Is in High-Spirits as the Long-Awaited Director’s Cut Releases in September

Gamescom 2021 started off with a bang on Day 2, and to close it off, the event also had fireworks courtesy of Hideo Kojima. The last showcase of Opening Night Live revolved around the iconic creator’s latest title in Death Stranding. Earlier this year, he announced the arrival of the Director’s Cut of the title, which will release on September 24.
Today, at Gamescom 2021, Kojima talked about the fresh additions to the title that fans can expect to see soon. The game will receive visual upgrades for the PlayStation 5 as players can now play at the title at 60 FPS and 4K resolutions. Additionally, fans will have new content to try out with the arrival of features never seen before in the critically acclaimed title.

Death Stranding Director’s Cut to have new delivery support and online ranking system
During the title’s preview trailer, Kojima revealed the arrival of a new delivery support for fans to try. With the new evolved stabilizers which have thrusters, players can now jump off high areas and land softly anywhere. They can also send cargo safely and efficiently now by using a catapult for long distance deliveries as well. Finally, the Buddy Bot has new upgrades also as players can now sit on it and relax, while the robot does all the traveling for them.
A Firing Range has also been set up in the basement of the facilities. Players can now practice weapon handling to improve delivery skills. Plus, they can also compete with high scores on the new online ranking system. They can also revisit boss battles whenever they want in the private room, and check their scores compared to other players. Death Stranding Director’s Cut will also has new eight new tracks for players to listen to as well.

New Missions and Racetrack
Death Stranding Director’s Cut will also have new action-packed delivery missions for players to attempt. Plus, delivering has also become easier and fun with ramps placed near valleys to jump off using vehicles. Players can also capture some stunning moments while attempting to do stunts after jumping off the ramp. Finally, there is also a new Racetrack that fans can use to race against others in the community. Sams around the world can join in on the thrill and compete against each other to know which one’s the best.

In the end, it seems like Hideo Kojima has packed the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding with some cool features. The title will release in a month, and fans of the creator and the IP should definitely keep an eye on it, and it sure seems like it will be a lot of fun.
