Destiny 2 has new content for fans revolving around Vault of Glass. The developers released the Raid for the first time in May, and fans have loved everything about it. The Vault of Glass Raid became a resounding success, and it’s considered to be one of the best content additions for the year 2021.

But that’s not all as fans can play with new Vault of Glass Raid difficulty settings soon. Bungie has stated that Fireteams will have a hard time completing it, and players need to have a minimum power level of 1350. With rewards like Timelost weapons, it’s an opportunity that players shouldn’t miss at all.

How hard will the Master difficulty of Vault of Glass be in Destiny 2?

When Vault of Glass arrived in May, fans found the difficulty to be quite high for a raid. Players had to go through various struggles since Day 1 to complete it by killing the final boss in Atheon. Since then, the community has found tricks and cheese moves to defeat these bosses and champions easily. Along with that, they have also devised better armor sets that can handle these combatants better.

The Master difficulty will up the scale of the Raid. The bosses and the champions will be much tougher. Other than that, the developers at Bungie stated in the recent This Week at Bungie blog that it ‘won’t be a walk in the park’. The Raid will include more champions and modifiers. But it will be worth it as players can win various rewards like Timelost weapons, which are exclusive to Master difficulty.

Players should use the mod that can one-phase Atheon

One of the mod that players should use for Master difficulty of Vault of Glass in Destiny 2 is the Superstructure Defender mod. They will require 1 Energy to add it on to Void armor pieces. They can improve its effect by stacking them on to multiple armor pieces. The mod becomes active when players stand on a sync plate or are near a conflux weapon, and weapon attacks that hit powerful Vex combatants have a high chance to weaken them.

The mod gives players and their teammates a debuff that stacks with any other debuffs in the game. Most buffs and debuffs don’t stack in Destiny 2, and players can only use one of them in their fireteam. But with this mod, they can have two debuffs, which allows them to deal insane damage. By using it, they can even one-phase Atheon which seems hard to believe.

Players should definitely use it if they want to defeat Atheon in Master difficulty of Vault of Glass. It’s very likely that the developers at Bungie might remove it as the mod is very overpowered. But if they don’t then players shouldn’t shy away from trying it.
