Mahendra Singh Dhoni has proven time and again that his ability to dismiss batsmen are on point. Now, during the second ODI match against Sri Lanka, MSD was at it again. Danushka Gunathilaka was unsettled by a delivery by Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhoni reacted quickly and whipped off the bails before Gunathilaka had a chance to register what was happening.

This wasn’t just any old stumping, this one was special because the former Indian captain has now tied with former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara for the most ODI stumpings, with 99 stumpings. His dismissal tally has also been take to 377 dismissals in ODIs. He is 4th in the standings behind Sangakkara, Adam Gilchrist and Mark Boucher. If he can play on until the 2019 World Cup, there is a good chance that he could catch Boucher, but eyeing Sangakkara and Gilchrist could be a tough ask.
