England Out

An end to the England’s Champions Trophy Dream run in this way is something that was not on the cards for many cricket fans. Even the likes of Faf du Plesis said that India and England are the finalists he would love to watch. England’s Captain Eoin Morgan said that the pitch was used and behaved differently and Pakistan having played on this wicket before were habitual of the slowness of the pitch and therefore had an edge over the England Team. Whilst in the same presentation the England Skipper accepted that the Champions should be ready to perform under in all circumstances and definitely Pakistan were the better side today. He added that the game and the shots were played in the same possible manner however the slowness of the pitch was something they could not adjust to. Having players like Joe Root, the skipper himself, finisher Butler, and the all-rounder in form Ben Stokes, this was least expected of the side which according to many cricketing experts were the side that could have possibly lifted the trophy. Alex hales has also been in good touch in this tournament giving them with vital starts.

Most of the cricket fans across the globe are eagerly waiting for an encounter between arch rivals India and Pakistan yet again on this Sunday. Fingers crossed for the semifinal up next against Bangladesh. The mighty looking Indian side believed that composure is necessary to win big tournaments and they have the momentum back with them coming fresh from a convincing victory against the Proteas. The Bangladeshis will try all their might and so will India to book a birth in the finals of the Champions Trophy. The defending champions have their strike players in tremendous form which gives them an edge and they also have the habit of winning big matches. Semi-Finals it is.
