There’s no doubt about the fact that the buzz regarding this year’s upcoming Call of Duty game has increased rapidly in the last few weeks, thanks to some solid leaks from various scoopers. And now, after a long wait, publisher Activision has dropped an official confirmation on the rumored Modern Warfare III title.
Following the endless rumors and speculations, Activision recently shared a tweet. While asking fans some interesting questions as part of a poll, it ended up revealing Call of Duty 2023. Not just that, the tweet from the publisher also ended up confirming the developing studio on this project.

Initially, online speculations called it a paid DLC expansion of Modern Warfare II. However, it was never the case, as Activision had made it quite clear. Hence, everyone was curious to see what’s going on with the standalone video game for 2023. Per the leaks, it’s rumored to be called Modern Warfare III.

Speaking of an official confirmation, then it was just provided by the publisher on social media. While doing a poll, Activision asked the fans if they would like to see Operators, Weapons and Bundles from MWII carry forward into Call of Duty 2023 or not. It’s the first time the company has dropped a tweet directly mentioning this year’s installment.

Activision is yet to share the first glimpse from CoD 2023. Considering the latest tweet, one can assume that a reveal trailer might be on its way soon. Insiders have claimed that it will be coming in the first week of August.
