Alex Hay had been an enthusiastic gamer for a while. Besides being a gamer, the latter was the creator of Toolbox Pro and other apps. Earlier in March 2023, he had informed the netizens about his battle against cancer. He had also expressed the desire to experience Starfield. Unfortunately, the man lost his life to cancer in May, as confirmed by his family.

Alex Hay’s note can be found in The Eye addressed to scientists, telling them that he is always with them. The note marks a promise to the man, a promise of the community always keeping him in their memories. Moreover, Bethesda ensured an immortal attachment of Alex Hay to their giant. 

“To all my friends and fellow explorers, I’m always with you, out there in Starfield. Love always, Alex Hay”, the note reads.
