The community has to give props to Nintendo for coming up with such an amazing array of updates. The mega-content drop with patch 2.0 indeed aided the fans to fall in love with Animal Crossing: New Horizons again. The impressive Happy Home DLC along with an armada of amazing free content turn the tide of the game.

This update was seen as the biggest content drop the title has seen in the past 2 years. Moreover, it also served as the final free update for the game with more DLC likely in the pipeline. Gamers indeed found more reasons to play the game and visit all the new areas and try more activities & features. But there is still room for more upgrades as the community voiced their suggestions on Reddit.

Reddit user sparked a thread revolving all things Animal Crossing: New Horizons needs

Redditor u/LizzyLovesick, shared a post on the subreddit thread suggesting a concept that is similar to Minecraft and other survival games. Tools & weapons carry a health bar that denotes their condition. This makes your inventory extremely important and needlessly forces you to farm for their resources to keep your inventory up-to-date. She believes the ‘Flimsy’ variant of tools should be more durable and make certain tools indestructible.

Meanwhile, another fan stated that the developers should also consider adding a highlight option to shovel, waterscape, and cliff tools. This minor upgrade will go a long way in aiding players to renovate the island.

This fan feels the special gold standard tools should carry more prestige, instead of how they work in the game. The studio has merely granted them high durability, but it is not enough to satisfy the community. Fans want this rarity of tools to be indestructible and allow gamers to use them endlessly.

Other fans believe the health bar and a limited number of uses for certain tools is a bad idea in itself. It adds more to the grind while not helping add more value to the game.
