Apex Legends’ servers are quite unstable right now. And unfortunately, the developers may not be able to fix this issue very soon. The servers haven’t been struggling with what they’re supposed to do since 14 September 2021. And despite all the reassurances and fixes by Respawn, players continue to experience a massive disconnect error.
On 15 September 2021, Respawn announced that the issues have been fixed. A day later, they admitted that there are still some ongoing issues despite the fix and apologized to players. Respawn also suggested that some problems would require work over the weekend.

This issue is more problematic for high-ranked players as it is affecting their ranks. Players are also struggling to complete the rank mission due to these ongoing issues. The game’s social media pages are flooded with complaints from high-ranked players. Subsequently, Respawn recently posted an official Tweet on this matter that said, “Despite improvements today, we’re still seeing roughly three times the normal rate of disconnect errors in Apex Legends, and a full return to normal may take until our next planned patch on Sept 22.”

Respawn also highlighted the point that they are going to extend the current ranked spilt by one week. That update will go live on 20 September 2021 (Monday). This rank spilt will give players more time to perfect their competitive levels before the update. Here’s a tip- Right now, if you treasure your rank, it is better to stick with unranked plays until the issues are fixed completely.
The server issue began when Apex Legend started the Evolution Event and added new cosmetics skins. Soon after the event, players began facing several connectivity issues or being directly kicked right out of the game. Right now, players are constantly struggling with this horrific server issue and it is quite frustrating, to be honest. Hopefully, the issue will be fixed soon and there won’t be any extra delays.
