As the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage inches closer, fans of the franchise are gearing up for the adventure with Basim. With the game just days away from release, many fans have one question on their mind. Will the game be available to pre-load like previous AC games?

Pre-loading lets players get into the game the second it is released without worrying about downloading that game upon launch. While players have received the option to pre-load previous AC games in the past, it is uncertain if Ubisoft plans on doing so with Mirage.

When can players pre-load Assassin’s Creed Mirage?

As of now, it is uncertain if and when players will be able to pre-load Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This is because the devs have not yet made an official announcement on its status. Historically, Assassin’s Creed games have been available for preload two days before their official release date.

If the game is set for pre-loading, players can expect it to be available on October 3, 2023, two days prior to its release. Preordering the game will allow players to preload the game as soon as it becomes available. Ensuring that players can play it immediately upon release.

How to pre-load Assassin’s Creed Mirage on consoles?

Although there is no official news on the pre-load status, according to recent trends, players can go to the respective digital stores and press the preload button. Here is how players can pre-load AC Mirage on all platforms:

Preloading on PlayStation (PS4 & PS5)

  1. Open the library from the PlayStation home screen.
  2. Select the “Purchased” games section.
  3. Locate the game and highlight it.
  4. If the game is available for preload, the “Download” button will appear beneath its icon.
  5. Press the “Download” button.
  6. Players must make sure that the console remains either turned on or in standby mode while the game is being downloaded.

Preloading AC Mirage on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

  1. Navigate to “My games and apps” from the Xbox home screen.
  2. Select the “Games” tab.
  3. Search for “Assassin’s Creed Mirage” and highlight it.
  4. Press the “A” button to open the installation menu.
  5. Choose “Manage installation on Internal.”
  6. If Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available for preload, players will be able to checkmark “will install.”
  7. Select “Save changes,” and AC Mirage will start downloading.
  8. Players should ensure the console remains either turned on or in standby mode during the download process.

How to pre-load AC Mirage on PC?

While getting the game on the PC, players are given 2 options as to where they want to buy the game. AC Mirage will be available at both the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect store.

Preloading on Epic Games for PC

  1. Launch the Epic Games Launcher.
  2. Navigate to the “Library” section.
  3. Search for the game and highlight it.
  4. Initiate the preload process by pressing the “Preload” button.

Preloading on Ubisoft Connect for PC

  1. Open Ubisoft Connect on your PC.
  2. Access the “My Games” section.
  3. Locate the game and highlight it.
  4. Begin the preload by selecting the “Preload” button.
