After staying out of the spotlight for over 3 years, Battlefield has finally returned. Electronic Arts usually takes a couple years’ time to come up with a brand new game, but the horrific pandemic impeded the production process. The studio released a teaser trailer for the game a few days away from E3, 2021. Naturally, this massive revelation was going to turn heads, and it indeed took over the web.

Gamers have been excitedly looking forward to more revelations, but EA is playing this one closer to its chest.

Battlefield 2042 has mesmerized fans

The American gaming giant held a rather interesting showcase that revealed a brand Battlefield Portal. This new title will allow players to jump into any legacy title of the game and recreate the same experience. Furthermore, the trailer reveals and the latest showcase shed light on key aspects of its gameplay. Among all the tiny details and the astounding visuals, few key features like in-game tanks, mechanical beings, and more are earning them praise.

Reddit user u/zoptirik shared a post on the official channel and shined a bright light on explosions. He suggested that EA has done a fantastic job in replicating lifelike explosions in the game. Fellow Reddit users and fans of the franchise also agreed with zoptirik, as the gameplay seemed quite fascinating. Fans are in for a fantastic treat, as this title is headed for an eventual release this fall.

Who does not wish to take control of a tank and run amuck in the open field? Destroying such monstrous beasts by an infantry unit gives a distinct feeling in itself. EA’s FPS franchise allows the community to experience the chaos and action that war can bring. The recent revelations all suggest that Battlefield 2042 is going to be a historic release.

It might set a new benchmark for the franchise that other titles can obtain inspiration from. The previous version of the game was a misfire, and it looks like EA is surely going to right that wrong with the next major release.
