Fresh Leaks Suggest Destiny and Halo Developer Aiming for a New Title

Destiny and Halo developer Bungie, is looking to make a brand new video game alongside NetEase. For those uninitiated, NetEase is one of the biggest tech companies in China that has previously partnered with Blizzard Entertainment and Mojang AB (a Microsoft subsidiary). They are home to some massive titles, such as The Lord of the Rings: the rise of war, LifeAfter, and Identity V.
Sources have claimed that NetEase is working with the Halo developer to release an unannounced FPS title soon. The information comes in from one of their artists, as he mentioned it on his LinkedIn profile.

Bungie ties up with Chinese tech giant to develop a new FPS title
In a recent interview with TheGamePost, a NetEase source confirmed the collaboration between Bungie and his franchise. He revealed that the duo is planning to release a new FPS title which is nowhere related to their most loved title, Destiny. The source also mentioned that the game is in development for the past two years and will be hitting the markets very soon.

A few months back, some leaks claimed that Bungie had plans to make a Destiny mobile game alongside NetEase. Although, there was no update about this topic as none of the parties commented on it. But now, with fresh news coming in about an FPS title, we believe that Bungie plans to expand its network by catering to android and iOS fans.

Bungie CEO, Pete Parsons, said that NetEase has ‘a significant amount of experience in mobile we [Bungie] don’t have’ and that this partnership will allow them to ‘incubate new ideas.’
Did Destiny developer have plans to release a mobile game years back?

A few years back, a boy spotted two guys playing a similar title to Destiny on their iPad. The incident took place in a cafeteria in the Czech Republic when the game was only available for Xbox and PlayStation.
Madfinger Games had plans to release a new game called Shadowgun legends and add it to their ongoing series. Interestingly, the game was the one developed by them. The FPS title had a similar interface, such as Destiny, which ultimately confused the gaming community.
