Tom Henderson, Owner and CEO of the online platform ‘Viral Junkie’, has some useful insights on the 2021 Call of Duty game. He recently tweeted out some information that he has on the upcoming title. Neither Activision nor any other studio has confirmed the assumption. However, Tom believes that this seems like the “only logical next step”.
Call of Duty might release another Modern Warfare title in 2021
Tom believes that the next Call of Duty title will be a successor to the Modern Warfare series. It will be a follow up to the 2019 MW title, and therefore, the developers might call it ‘Modern Warfare 2’. His tweet said, “I hate to be “that guy” before BOCW has released, but it’s looking like CoD for 2021 is another Modern Warfare title of some kind. Understandably not a lot of information as of yet, but it’s a modern day setting. Modern Warfare 2 seems like the only logical next step?”

He added another speculation regarding the game. A later tweet said, “Possibly bundled with the original Modern Warfare 2 Remastered?” A lot of fans are conflicted on another MW title coming out in such a short duration. Moreover, they are also worried about the development studio that Activision might assign to the production of this game. The last thing they want is for Sledgehammer to work on this game.
