Call of Duty recently received its mid-season update called Season 2 Reloaded across all currently active titles. The update brought new weapons, operators, and game modes.

Alongside this, we saw a new zombies outbreak map in the form of Sanatorium and a new objective mode named Secure. Sanatorium is a map that was added to multiplayer in the first mid-season update and the Secure mission involves players killing zombies to obtain the required essence for Requiem.

Recently, from the updated character intel of Valentina and Kravchenko, we have identified that the Omega Group is setting their sites in Berlin to execute Operatsiya Inversiya. So far, we know that both Requiem and Omega are fighting for control over the Ural Mountains.

Additionally, Valentina wants to unleash the undead German soldiers as part of her plan to utilize the dark aether. As a result, it would not be a surprise if we see a new Berlin Zombies map with the Season 3 update.

New weapons coming to Call of Duty Zombies

Multiple Call of Duty data-miners have teased a new wonder weapon called the mega barrel. There is still confusion as to whether it is actually a standalone weapon or an attachment due to its name. From what we have seen, this weapon duplicates the fire types of various Zombies bosses.

Currently, the mega barrel possesses five different fire types. These include the Giga laser, copycat, diffusion beam, blazer beam, and micro missile. These will emulate fire types of bosses like the Tempest, Manglers are more which both Requiem and Omega have been experimenting with.

We could also be seeing Activision add a new perk. As there are three perk slots left on the Wonderfizz machine, we have identified potential candidates that could fill the role. Firstly, double tap root beer, which will double your fire rate with the first upgrade. In addition to these, we could potentially see the return of the PHD Flopper and Mule Kick perks.
