In this challenge, CoDM has added the Gas Grenade. The Gas Grenade is a tactical equipment, similar to the smoke grenade, flashbang, the Cryo Bomb and the Trophy System. Players use tactical equipments in both offensive and defensive manners.

On deployment, the Gas Grenade will release a cloud of tear gas. It will slow down enemies and blur their vision. It will also induce coughing and change the hold of the weapon. Players can easily counter an enemy who is camping or holding a lane by throwing this equipment. The gas has a greenish color but is not very thick, therefore it is not a viable cover for players. To escape the Gas Grenade all players need to do is jump spam or slide out of its radius.
