Infinity Ward, on Twitter, recently shared the details of the latest playlist update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. It is already live across all platforms and brings some exciting changes in both the titles. However, a lot of players could not access the multiplayer mode in Modern Warfare, owing to DEV ERROR 5476.
Despite being fan favorites, Infinity Ward has removed Shipment and Shoot House 24/7 from the MW multiplayer mode. Fans loved both the maps for their fast-paced action and intense gunfights. Naturally, their removal is a shocker for the community.
However, in hindsight, it seems like a very strategic move. Black Ops Cold War released today, and Activision certainly wants a head start in the game’s initial sales. Removing two of the most popular game modes from Modern Warfare might incentivize more players to buy Black Ops Cold War.
Even though this is a subtle marketing strategy, it might prove beneficial for the Call of Duty publisher in the longer run.
Also, the latest playlist update added the Realism and Free For All Party Moshpit in Modern Warfare. Last, but not least, Mini Royale is back in Warzone.
Following the latest patch update, many players have reported that they cannot load multiplayer in Modern Warfare. Apparently, DEV ERROR 5476 shows up on the loading screen.
Infinity Ward is yet to respond on the situation, and several fans who are currently facing these issues await an early solution.
Call of Duty Warzone, on the flip side, is posing separate problems for the players since the update. Some fans have reported that Mini Royale is not working, as the matches won’t start. The countdown gets to 5 right before a match and then resets to matchmaking.
Just before the release of Black Ops Cold War, a game-breaking update could be bad news for the Call of Duty franchise. Hence, Infinity Ward must resolve these bugs and glitches as soon as possible.
