Call of Duty fans may witness the comeback of Plunder mode with Warzone 2

In case anyone missed to keep track of events, the first Warzone title from Activision had received a mode called Plunder. It was unveiled with the initial launch of the game in 2020 when the map of Verdansk was available in the battle royale. Plunder was an alternative mode that enabled the players to make as much money as possible by looting large sums of cash and also getting continuous respawns.

As reported by Insider Gaming, this mode now stands a chance of making a return. In a short clip uploaded on YouTube, one Call of Duty player showed a weird glitch in Warzone 2 that indicates a possible return of Plunder.

As one can see in the video, above, the said bug urges the player to ‘CALL IN A CASH DEPOSIT HELI’, a game mechanic system from Plunder. There was no other mode that had this kind of option.

Even if Plunder is coming back with Call of Duty Warzone 2, then it will be interesting to see the reactions of the fans themselves. Because when the mode was first removed from the original Warzone, it went unnoticed. Which means that the mode itself didn’t feel engaging enough for many of the players.
