Buy stations were introduced into the Call of Duty franchise via Warzone. These are essentially mobile arsenals from which you can purchase tactical and lethal equipment. Although at first, they may seem too good to be true, but like anything else in the game, they have their fair share of disadvantages.

In order to purchase an item from a buy station, you will require a fair amount of cash. The prices of items available from the buy station range from $1500 to $10000 in the battle royale mode. The items available are:

  • Armor Plate Bundle – $1,500
  • Shield Turret – $2,000
  • Cluster Strike – $3,000
  • Gas Mask – $3,000
  • Precision Airstrike – $3,500
  • UAV – $4,000
  • Self-Revive Kit – $4,500
  • Squad Buyback – $4,500 per teammate
  • Munitions Box – $5,000
  • Loadout Drop Marker – $10,000

While you can obtain items such as armor plates and gas masks from loot boxes and ground loot, utilities like the loadout drop marker and redeploy teammate are exclusive to the buy station. You can identify a buy station on your map by its green shopping cart logo. Warzone Buy Stations are located at all points of interest marked on your map, so you will never be too far away from one. The airport and hospital are two locations that are saturated with these buy stations.

Despite these many features, you must remember that you will be completely exposed to enemy fire while using a buy station. Furthermore, if you plan on stacking scorestreaks, each member of your team can only carry one of them at a time. Thus, while the buy station will allow you to exchange cash for incredible in-game advantages, you might have to leave yourself open in order to use it.
