Crash Bandicoot 4- Release Date for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Announced

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is going to release on new-gen consoles, Activision announced today. Additionally, the PC version of the game will release later this year. PC patrons can purchase the game through Battle.net.

The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version of the game will support upgraded visuals and run the game at 4k 60 FPS. However, the Xbox Series X version of the game will not run it at 4k natively but uplift the visuals to 4k if the display supports. Activision has also mentioned that there will be a free new-gen upgrade for people who buy the game for PS4 or Xbox One.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is the newest installment in the fan-favorite series, the last one having released over a decade ago. The story of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, starts right where it left off in Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Crash and Coco have the responsibility to save the multiverse from Neo Cortex and Doctor N. Tropy.

There are multiple new game mechanics to discover in the newest title.

“Embark on this all-original time-shattering adventure as Crash or Coco featuring new gameplay mechanics like wall running, rail grinding, and rope swinging.”

Fans of the series will get to enjoy the new title in similar ways of the past.

Experience the same over the top action platforming the series is known for, including modern additions like quality-of-life improvements, visual upgrades, and the choice between Modern and Retro mode to match the appetite of both new players and longtime fans of the series.

Apart from PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the game is also available on Nintendo for $39.99. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch have already started. To purchase and for more information, head over to the Nintendo e-shop.

The suggested prices for PS5 are $59.99 USD / £59.99 GBP / €69.99 EUR SRP, as announced by PlayStation. Players can purchase the game digitally and receive the Totally Tubular Skins. The price of the game is $59.99 for Xbox One X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 4 Pro. Additionally, there is free upgrade to the new-gen in the same family.
