Curious Job Listing Points Towards New Dying Light Game

After a long wait, Dying Light 2 is finally all set to release on December 2021 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One. The first Dying Light game was released way back in 2015 and it was one of the most promising titles of the survival horror genre. However, a curious job listing is pointing towards a new game. Looks like Techland is working on a brand new Dying Light game already, and it could be Dying Light 3. The new job listing is for a Senior 3D artist and Senior quest designer. This job listing, at the very least, gives hope that the company is gearing up for its next big title.

According to the rumors, the next title will be a AAA project, just like Dying Light and Dying Light 2. However, the first job listing doesn’t give tons of information about the upcoming title. The first job listing reads, “Your main responsibility will be to create 3D assets for our next big title.”

The company also wants a candidate to have at least 5 years of experience in creating 3D models for AAA projects as well as strong skills in Zbrush and Photoshop. Well, this confirms the rumor that the game will be a AAA project.

Open-world action RPG Dying Light game

The second job listing mentions, “familiarity with the difference between the narrative and the gameplay layer in open-world action RPG.” The second job listing gives more insight into the coming big title. Well, this confirms that the game will be an open-action RPG game with a narrative experience. This also hints towards Dying Light 3.

The job listing is for Senior Quest Designer and the missions on the Dying Light game are also called, “quest” so we can assume that the company is ready to add a new game to the franchise. However, nothing is confirmed yet officially. So, take everything with a grain of salt. It is confirmed that the company is working on a new title but, but what game it is exactly is still a mystery here.
