Dr Disrespect has this habit of taking beef with the Call of Duty fandom for several reasons. But over the years, it was not made clear why this was the case. While some thought that it was because of the game mechanics, others thought it was because of not getting the proper community support for his hard work.

But now it was being revealed by the Two-Timer that it is not the case and that he was actually a part of the dev team before he returned to streaming as Dr Disrespect. This has been a shocker for many, as they couldn’t believe that Doc is such a talented person.

But for his recent viewers, it can be a bit of a shocker, as he is always ranting about how certain game levels and designs are not very player friendly and irrational.

Thus when fans started asking him how he knew so much about video games, he came out straight saying, “A lot of you guys going, ‘Jesus Doctor you know a lot about video games.’ Yeah, I do, I built half the maps…for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.”

It is also to be noted that Dr Disrespect was the community manager for SledgeHammer Games in 2011, and later in 2012, he became the level designer for the studio. According to Call of Duty Wiki, “As a Level Designer, Beahm helped in the creation of several multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, including Solar, Horizon, Instinct, Ascend, Recovery, Sideshow, Site 244 and Quarantine.”

In 2015, Dr Disrespect announced his retirement from SledgeHammer to pursue his passion for streaming. After his ban from Twitch, he moved to YouTube, where he became active for calling out both Twitch and Call of Duty. Later in 2021, he announced that he was going to make his own called, “Project Moon”, which later got renamed “Deadrop.”

Notably, Dr Disrespect founded his own game development team called the Midnight Society with former Infinity Ward employee, Robert Bowling. Thus, it is also a fact that he is very confident about his upcoming game, Deadrop, because of how he has been involved in the level designs himself.
