Dream Takes Us Back to the Memories of Late YouTuber Technoblade’s Positive Persona; Calls Him the Inspiration for His Recent Song

Masked Minecraft YouTuber Dream has been a hot topic on the internet for a while. His decision to do a face reveal to his fans and then go back to his masked phase has shocked multiple fans. However, the YouTuber is embracing his new masked phase. Notably, he has credited the positive influence of another Minecraft streamer to be helpful to him.

The YouTuber he is talking about is Technoblade. He was one of the pioneering personalities on Minecraft and was bravely fighting cancer while keeping the masses entertained. Technoblade was also part of the Dream SMP server leading to a healthy friendship between the two YouTubers.

Dream talks about the positive personality of Technoblade

While sitting with Colin and Samir for a podcast, Dream talked about his deceased YouTuber friend Technoblade. He said, “He knew he was dying in like six months and then posted funny YouTube videos about the fact that he was dying.” This positive outlook from Technoblade really moved Dream. He added that Technoblade was positive and encouraging towards other people till the very end.

He said, “I feel like that really inspired me and made me realize that I need to be appreciative of the people and things I care most about around me.” All these factors, inspired by Technoblade, led to Dream writing a song, ‘Until I End Up Dead’. In this song, he talks about how he felt about Technoblade’s struggles.

The Minecraft YouTuber felt, being the same age as Technoblade, that he possibly could have had the same situation as him. He said the song is about, “The vulnerable moment of realizing that you aren’t invincible and that you are mortal”. He further added that Technoblade would have wanted his every fan and friend to live their life to the fullest.

The song also did a fundraiser to help the Sarcoma Foundation, a foundation helping the ones suffering from cancers similar to Technoblade. All this was possible due to the positive effect Technoblade had on the life of the Minecraft YouTuber.
