EA Sports FC 24 is set to release on September 29th, 2023. With the release date around the corner, players have gotten a glimpse of the attention to detail in the game. The new game looks much more visually appealing than its FIFA predecessors. However, the game feels much slower than the previous FIFA titles due to the realism aspect of the game.

For this game, EA has focused on making it as mechanically real as possible. Including features like warm-up time, Angry Injury Reaction, and even a Ball Boy to keep things realistic. While these just brush the surface of the features added to the game, fans can’t wait to see what’s in store for them this season.

EA Sports FC 24 is bringing in many new features that no FIFA game has seen before. In the new title, players get to experience Manager awards, realistic pre-match cinematics, and humanlike crowd behavior. The devs have also worked on minor details like the realistic movement of clothes. And to players’ surprise, they also added the iconic North London Derby Song which the NPC crowd sings before a match at the North London Stadium.

Some mechanical changes have been made to increase the realism of the game such as players falling behind the ad board because of running out of bounds too fast. If the speed is right, players will get to see characters jump over the board to avoid the collision. Another interesting feature added to the game was commentators. While Derek Rae and Stewart Robson will be the primary commentators, players can choose Guy Mowbray and Sue Smith to replace them in the settings.

When it comes to animations, EA has really taken things to the next level. Celebrations in any football game are seen as the most important aspect of the game as players get to enjoy their victories. With the new game, characters have received many new celebrations. Even the goalkeepers now celebrate big saves and EA has worked on animations for everything. Defenders now jump to save the ball instead of just running in front of the ball to stop it. Even tackling players has become more realistic as players now are heavily interacting with the opposite team to gain position over the ball.

Quality-of-Life Improvements:

With all the new graphical and mechanical changes to the game, EA has taken the game in a new direction. However, it’s not all visual enhancements. Some major quality-of-life updates have been made to the series. The Evolutions feature allows players to upgrade cards, potentially balancing the Ultimate Team meta. Players can now upgrade their cards, including those that may have become less relevant in previous versions of the game.

Many players have mentioned their concerns about the game being too slow and mechanically complex, which is driving players away from the Franchise. Although the possibility of post-launch updates to adjust the pace has been mentioned by the devs, there is no given time frame as to when that will happen.

FC 24 will come with a completely revamped menu system, particularly in the Ultimate Team mode. This improvement streamlines the user interface and makes it more intuitive and efficient. As players enjoy mainly being in a match, these enhancement saves players time and frustration. This allows them to focus on their in-game objectives and squad management.
