After a classic collaboration with Japanese video game company Bandai Namco, Fortnite is all set for a new collab with Disney. The two franchises have a significant history as they have teamed up for multiple events. A prime example of this was the time they introduced the Moon Knight skin to honor Disney’s TV series, Moon Knight. 

Fortnite brings another exciting collaboration with Obi-Wan Kenobi

Fortnite and collaborations are two words connected, like chains. After their RPG title gained popularity in 2018 -19, the franchise decided to collaborate with every top-grossing movie, celebrity, and pop star. Indirectly, this helped in gaining more users as the game allowed them to play with their favorite character. 

Players have anticipated the release of the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi because of multiple reasons. First, Disney is about to release its TV series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, next week. Second, we all know that Fortnite and Disney have a history of collaborations before such big releases.

Third, the battle royale title already has the Jedi’s lightsaber, so introducing its master is necessary. And last, Fortnite always looks to keep its fans hooked, so adding this skin is mandatory.

What can fans expect from the new Disney x Fortnite collaboration?

The Jedi Master will be available in the item shop from Thursday, May 26, 8 p.m. ET. This is right before time, as the official show will release a day later. Here’s how it looks:

The Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit will try to look just like the original, thanks to the creative heads of Fortnite. Also, the man behind the character, Ewan McGregor, will be added to the family because of his skin. Apart from that, there will be a few other items in the shop, like a desert back bling, Obi-Wan’s blade pickaxe, a Jedi interceptor glider, an obi-wan-inspired emote, and a fancy loading screen.

Apart from collaborating with pop-star celebrities and franchises, Fortnite has honored popular streamers such as Ninja and LazerBeam with exclusive skins as they have helped in the game’s popularity.
