PlayStation Game Size has been pretty accurate with its leaks and early updates so far. Still, there are a few more days left for the release of Dying Light 2, so fans should take the leak with a grain of salt. That’s because, occasionally, the file size of games leaked ahead of time differs from the actual size of the games.

As for DL2, it will release, as has been mentioned before, in February, as the first major launch of the month. Because there will be two other strong releases as well in that month.

The first one is the much-anticipated game of the year, Elden Ring, from Hidetaka Miyazaki’s FromSoftware.

The second prominent title to release in February will be Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West. It’s the upcoming sequel to the 2017 predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn.

But Dying Light 2 will have an edge over the other two games, arriving early next month. Since both Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West will launch after mid-February. This means, if the game, Dying Light 2, manages to entice gamers and reel them in, they might not want to get the other games before finishing DL2 first.

Dying Light 2 comes out on February 4, 2022, for Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
