Published 03/29/2021, 5:09 AM EDT

More often than not, when you join a Fortnite lobby, players will be trying their hardest to get the coveted ‘Victory Royale’. However, there are also those who just want to have fun by trolling others and asking in their frustration. Previously, we have seen streamers like Ninja and Sypher rage at the game’s ‘broken’ mechanics. On the other hand, we have also watched them troll ‘noobs’ and have a gala time doing so.

10 of the unluckiest moments in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

1 Fail zipline landing

This player decided it would be a good idea to land straight onto a zipline. Instead of the smooth transition he expected, he collided with another player using the zipline and ended up falling to his death. This was either a 100 IQ play from his opponent or an unlucky coincidence, you decide.

2 Back into the storm you go

If you are an avid Fortnite player, you know how annoying it is when the last zone is up a hill and your opponent has the high-ground. If you didn’t, this clip will definitely help you understand.

Just as the player in the venom skin is enjoying his high-ground, he spots his unsuspecting enemy trying to escape the storm by climbing up a steep hill. The venom skin uses the new shockwave bow added in Season 6 to repeatedly send his opponent back into the storm until he dies from storm damage. If this didn’t make him uninstall Fortnite, I don’t know what will.

3 Dire glitch at the spire

In Fortnite Season 6 Epic Games has introduced a new mythic weapon called the ‘Spire Assasins Primal Shotgun’. Since the gun is likely the most overpowered weapon in the game, players gather around the spire in order to obtain it. This unlucky player trapped the spire assassin in a box when she phased through the spire wall, making it impossible for him to damage it.

4 Friendly fire still exists in Fortnite

We have not seen friendly fire in Fortnite since the early days of the game. The new cuddle fish however may have brought this feature back. This player was jokingly shooting at her teammate when he placed a cuddle fish near her and shot it, eliminating both of them.

5  Trolling gone wrong

This streamer managed to creep up on his opponent, catching him unawares. However, instead of taking the free kill, he decided to emote behind his opponent. After performing emotes for a minute, his opponent finally took notice and killed the streamer before he could react. This is definitely one of the more ironic Fortnite clips.

6 Crash landing

This player was taking part in a casual game of team rumble. He decided to land next to a teammate but was met with an explosive surprise. Just as he was about to land, a rocket actually meant for his teammate, ended up hitting him and he was eliminated.

7 Cuddle fish in Fortnite are not so cute

Although the new pink cuddle fish added in Season 6 may look cute and friendly, they are anything but. These fish explode upon being shot, however, this fact was unknown to this player. On the advice of his chat, he shot at the harmless-looking creature, only to be eliminated in an explosion.

Evidently, things are not always as they seem in the game of Fortnite. Have you run into any of these troubles in Season 6? What has been your unluckiest moment in Fortnite so far? Let us know in the comments down below.
