The Season 7 Live Event (The Rift Tour) is finally over now. It’s time to look towards the future. What could be in store for Fortnite new season, Season 8. With multiple leaks and rumors about the new season, there’s a lot to talk about. Here’s everything you need to know about.
Fortnite Season 8 release date
The official date hasn’t been announced yet, but by looking at the duration of the previous season, the new season is likely to release around 12 September 2021. The Battle star system will also continue into the new season. There will be new costumes available from tier 1 to tier 100. The theme of the upcoming season has not been decided yet so there is not much info on costumes yet.

The customizable skin was a great hit in Season 7, so season 8 might also bring some fully customizable skin back to the game. When the next Battle Pass comes around, don’t be surprised to see some cool customizable skin.

According to rumors, Kevin The Cube will make its return to the game. Fortnite news tweeted ”The image of the cube seen during the Rift Tour is actually from the chapter 2 map! We might see Kevin return soon’‘.

During the Rift Tour Live Event, players were taken back through previous live events. However, for Kevin The Cube, he somehow appeared on the current (seasons) map. This strongly hinted that Kevin will be back pretty soon.
According to rumors, the highly popular Anime, Naruto is making its entry into the game. A massive leak on Reddit suggested Epic Games had gained the rights to use Naruto in the next Battle Pass. All the Anime fans get ready to have a blast. The same leaker revealed about the grand Ariana Grande concert so there is some credibility there.
