The world of Fortnite is going to change forever with the Week 7 update of season 5. In the previous weeks, Epic Games dropped several hints in Stealthy Stronghold that pointed towards something intriguing. First, the marking on the trees and now the arrival of a strange ship can only bode bad news.
It looks like those rumors and hints about the addition of Predator are coming to fruition. As the gaming studio adds more blatant hints regarding the same, it looks like the ferocious killing machine will be accompanied by yet another hunter.
The map has seen many changes with the week’s update, as the snow around the southern section of the map dissipates along with the holiday props. The changes to the Stealthy Stronghold now strengthen the rumor that points at the arrival of Predator. The Battle Pass of the game contains taunts and stickers that point towards the same. The character’s famed alien vessel can also be seen lying in the area along with a crashed helicopter.
The last bit of information will surely hit the old-school movie bugs like a bolt of lighting. It clearly seems like a re-imagination from the famous movie, The Predator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Everything is taken straight from the movie, and the latest patch notes clearly state that the two hunters will be added into the game.
If you are still finding it hard to believe then hang on, there is more information that hints at the same. This week’s update has also added a rather interesting weapon into the game. A lever-action shotgun that was a part of the famous Terminator franchise and was used by, you guessed it, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
If Epic Games ends up adding Arnold into the game, then it just might break the internet. As the script goes, Arnold’s character was the sole survivor in the movie with others dying to the alien. Not just that, he ends up killing the Predator instead of falling prey to him.
This could serve as a great idea for a whole new LTM based on a fight between Predator and everyone’s favorite, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Epic Games should not miss out on this amazing opportunity, and it should come up with something of this sort, enabling players to take on the roles of both legendary hunters.
