Gamestop Treats Xbox Fans to a Variety of $1 Games After an Exciting Bethesda Showcase

What if we told you that you can now buy your favorite titles as low as $1? You would be shocked, right? Well, it is true, as the popular electronic retailer, GameStop is making it happen. The exciting news dropped post-Xbox’s Summer Games Fest bit, mentioning classic titles across all consoles like the OG Xbox, the Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.

GameStop reported selling titles from top-grossing developers like Bethesda, Konami, 2K, Bungie, Ubisoft, and BioWare. They released a price band of $0.99 – $4.99 for the sale of these titles for a limited time.

Gears 5

Gears 5 was the most successful game in its series. It began with protagonist Kate Diaz on another mission post events in Gear 4.

Even though the storyline was more appreciated than the previous ones, fans complained about revolving around Kate. But that did not affect the game’s success as it ranked higher than its previous titles. GameStop set a price of $2.99. for this top-grossing title.

Prey

With a staggering $4.99 price from Gamestop, this title was one of the biggest hits of 2017. Prey is an FPS game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. 

They released it on different platforms, such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The story allows players to have a galactic experience as it features a moon station on Talos I.

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2

We all know about NBA 2K’s success as the game has ranked on the top-grossing list. Although, only a handful know about NBA 2K Playgrounds, released in 2018.

This is because it lacked the realistic feeling of the original NBA 2K due to its limits to animations. As a result, GameStop set a $0.99 price during the sale.

This historic title from MachineGames and Bethesda turned out to be a grand success. The story is based on protagonist J Terror-Billy Blazkowicz, on a mission to save humanity from the Nazis.

MachineGames released the titles as a sequel to its previous one in 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. GameStop set an exciting $4.99 price for it.
