There’s a particular method of beating each type of monster, and they follow a premeditated pattern of attacks. Party setup 

Before you take on the boss, you will need to configure your party. Equip a healer, 2 Pyro characters, and a shield character that can protect your team. Do not use a hydro character as each attack from the monster will freeze your character.

If you are forced to use a Hydro character, then ensure you use them with a shield or just as off the field support.  Now that you have configured your party, you are ready to take on the challenge.

Fighting Strategy

In the first phase as you enter the combat area and wait out the timer, mini slimes will spawn and Regisvine will unleash a barrage of ice beams. You will need to dodge this attack by dashing in a particular direction. Now quickly kill the slimes and pick up the Scarlet shards that they drop, use it to break one Iceberg. Repeat this process for the other three to unlock the next phase of the fight.

(Note: These  slimes and shards will also spawn during the boss battle, use them against the boss to deal additional damage)

In the second phase the full out battle with the Cryo plant monster will begin, first up you will have to locate the giant eye on its roots. Now target the eye with an Electro or Pyro attack to bring the Regisvine down. The eye is releatively stronger than its peers and during this the monster will unleash two ice beam towards you.

Destroying the eye will stun it for a small duration and leave it open for attacks. Use this chance to inflict as much damage as you can whenever this happens.

It will resume fight shortly and this time around it will hit you with three head butt attacks that will send a shockwave of ice in your direction. Dodge them but also deal damage to its head in between whenever it hits the surface. On the third attack, it will give you a chance to attack its weak spot present on the head.

If you fail to knock the monster in previous move, then you will have to rush back to an ice shard. Break the shard to create a force field around you as it will protect you from its next attack that will engulf the area. Always seek protection under the dome every time this phase happens, as this attack can easily kill the character present on the field.

Note that the monster also has other attacks, like the sweeping down attack, where the monster will spin its head along with tentacles in a downward motion. Rush outside the area of effect to avoid taking damage. If the fight prolongs, then it will introduce another attack that will spawn ice shards on top of you. You can dodge this attack by moving around the area constantly.
