It is always a pleasure to see how players explore their creativity in the game. There are an infinite number of mind-blowing Animal Crossing: New Horizons islands. Many players spent thousands of hours developing them and would love to share them. So, the game has a feature to invite others to their islands. But some started to misuse this feature.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons accounts getting banned

Nintendo has been extremely strict about its policies. It immediately bans an island if any player violates the guidelines. Recently, Nintendo banned players’ islands for Dream Address and island duplication. But most banned islands belonged to the victims of duplication.

New Horizons came up with a 12-digit code by which other players can visit one’s island. This was meant so that players could share their creations with others. However, some hackers use this to copy others’ islands and Dream Addresses. Moreover, the ones with spoofed Dream Addresses claim to be the original. As a result of which, the real island gets banned.

So players should be cautious with their Dream Addresses. It’s advisable not to share it with everyone or strangers. If the players already did, then don’t update the addresses.
