In September 2021, the developers revealed the sequel game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. From there, fans got to know that it will release in 2023. Further, the first game’s directors, Bryan Intihar and Ryan Smith, would direct it. Also, the writers and voice actors from the first game continued working on the sequel with the addition of Tony Todd, voicing Venom.

What is Insomniac Games’ stance on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

The American game developers recently tweeted, “Hi.” And various game developers responded to the tweet, like the God of War director Cory Barlog and PlayStation UK. However, a Twitter user named M asked if Insomniac Games could reveal anything about the sequel Spider-Man game.

The reveal trailer from September 2021 revealed that the sequel would feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as Spider-Man. This could mean players can switch between characters or play as both the Spideys based on the story’s mission.

The developers revealed that players would have new suits, abilities, and villains. Further, we see Venom at the end of the trailer, who is an arch-nemesis of the friendly neighborhood superhero. So we might have to fight the symbiote. We also hear a menacing voice in the trailer, seeking a challenger, which might hint at Kraven the Hunter, a famous Spider-Man villain who seeks strong challenges.
