The wait for Metroid Dread is finally coming to a close as its release date gets closer. The game is set to be released on October 8th and was featured in the latest Nintendo Direct. Nintendo had previously posted an overview video of Metroid Dread that gave fans a closer look at what they have planned next for the character Samus Aran. The trailer explained every detail, movement to enemy abilities, that players might expect from this upcoming title.
Explaining the relevance of the game, the Franchise director Yoshio Sakamoto said, “Maybe this sense of fear. As I talked about before, younger gamers who have not experienced the series may before may look at that fear-based gameplay and want to give it a shot.”

What would be the best way to honor the legacy of Mario Bros than to make a movie about it? The favorite Nintendo character, loved across generations, is coming to the silver screen soon! Illumination, along with Shigeru Miyamoto, is the studio working behind this movie. This same studio was also behind hit movies like Despicable Me.
The movie is set to release in the holiday window of 2022, releasing in North America on December 21. The best part is, Chris Pratt will be playing the role of Mario along with several star-studded voice casts, such as Charlie Day, Seth Rogan, and Anya-Taylor Joy.
