The last few years have been nothing short of remarkable for AMD. Their new generation of processors is handing out performances that are setting new benchmark records every other week. With such progress, AMD is breathing down the neck of its main competitor Intel. The groundbreaking 3D V-Cache technology has allowed AMD to hand out top-class performance to fans who also have been highly appreciative of recent Ryzen CPUs.

The new technology was first introduced with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D desktop CPU. Being able to store more layers of cache in the CPU allowed this particular CPU to have better performance than some of Intel’s best high-range CPUs.

However, things are looking even better for AMD right now as the new Ryzen 9 7945HX3D mobile gaming CPU seems to have more cache space than any of AMD’s desktop CPUs till now.

Ryzen 9 7945HX3D is set to change the industry landscape

The Ryzen 9 7945HX3D is the first mobile gaming CPU to have AMD’s new 3D V-Cache technology. Its 16-core 32-thread with 55W TDP theoretically places the 7945HX3D at the top of AMD’s laptop processors list. AMD promises that the new chip will be at least 15 percent faster than the 7945HX processor and will be the “world’s fastest mobile gaming processor”.

AMD also says that the 3D V-Cache technology will help significantly to get more performance in games that demand high CPU performance, like The Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The Verge’s Tom Warren announced the new line of gaming CPUs on Twitter. The X3D chips have helped AMD to witness a stellar rise in the desktop gaming CPU market.
