It’s only been a week since The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released on Nintendo Switch. Even after numerous criticisms, this game quickly became the fastest-selling title in the series.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a magnificent game with some really exciting gameplay mechanics. It allows for numerous possibilities. Fans can do anything, go anywhere, and build anything in this beautiful game.

But the limitations of its target platform, the Nintendo Switch, are pretty evident in this game. Even though it runs at a smooth 30 FPS for the most part, there are some dips. These dips might not even be due to the way they’ve been made. It might just be because it’s running on a somewhat dated console. But Nintendo does not roll this way.

“Fixed a bug in the main challenge, “Closed Doors” that sometimes prevented the challenge from being completed even if the conditions for progressing the challenge were met. In addition, we fixed some issues so that you can play the game comfortably.”

Maybe more updates would follow with a number of other changes. Or maybe Nintendo plans to shift their focus to porting this game to the Nintendo Switch 2 soon. However, no matter how hard Nintendo works on the Switch version, it would never run at 60 FPS on this console.
