Amouranth once had a stalker that almost left her speechless, and you won’t believe what he did.

Kaitlyn Siragusa, aka Amouranth, has had her fair share of stalkers during her career. For instance, her recent one made news after he sent a mystery box holding $70,000, an iPhone, a taser, and numbers to private security. His gift came in as a birthday present after Amouranth revealed her ‘abusive marriage’ online. Apparently, the streamer confirmed to be in one for quite some time but decided to keep it private for personal reasons. However, she could not take it anymore after her better half crossed the line, hurting her.

While this incident remains one of the iconic ones in her ‘stalker’ history, the ASMR queen once came across a bizarre troll. Back in 2019, Amouranth had an ongoing feud with Instagram after they took down multiple posts of hers. Amidst that, the person decided to harass her by sending emails, posing as a member of one of the prestigious companies in the US.

Amouranth reveals ‘Instagram-stalker’ incident that she could not fathom

Back in 2019, Amouranth focused on her career growth through Instagram. She used to upload regularly, maintaining a steady engagement with fans. However, her excitement instantly turned into fear as the platform took down a handful of pictures for reasons.

They flagged the content, leading her account to get a 14-day ban. And while she tried to decode where she went wrong, she received a horrifying email that left her in shackles. Surprisingly, a person named ‘Tampa,’ emailed her regarding this issue. He claimed to be a member of Cognizant, an American tech firm hired to do content moderation for Facebook and Instagram. Plus, he offered a $2600 deal, promising to keep the content online, reassuring her.

At first, Amo paid little attention to it, as she was busy trying to solve the problem with Instagram. She even requested her team to contact Facebook – the brand that owns Instagram and understand what went wrong. Amidst that, the stalker sent another email sharing the exact post timings.

It is quite hard to understand the exact post timings once they are taken down, as Instagram generally limits its access to the viewer. So, getting an email that states the exact time was a bit weird. “I am sure by now you have noticed that two additional posts have been struck and removed. Your posts made on April 3 at 10:18 AM, and July 2 at 11:54 AM,” said one of the emails. Another simply stated: “July 12 at 10:34 AM.”

Amouranth approached Huffingpost to reveal this information a day later. And despite the news house trying to reach the stalker, they decided to keep mum. So, who was this person really? What did he want from Amo? This still remains unclear.
