Riot Games is having a hard time fixing Yoru’s Dimensional Drift since it was first reported in Valorant. Not only has Riot deployed multiple patches to fix the broken animation, but they have also reportedly kept a close eye on the community.

However, every time Riot manages to fix the problem, Yoru Mains always find a way to reproduce the notorious bug.

Yoru’s powerful abilities also include an ultimate that lets him rip open reality and drift through a different dimension. Until the timer ends, he is invisible to his enemies. The ‘Dimensional Drift’ in itself is quite powerful. However, some ‘creative types’ have been extremely efficient with finding loopholes in Yoru’s ultimate.

Yoru’s Dimensional Drift bug allows players to shoot while invisible

Yoru is a talented trickster with extremely versatile duelist powers. He is also one of the most difficult agents to master in Valorant. With his ability to teleport (or fake it) or send in a decoy, Yoru can dumbfound just about anyone with his sheer tricking powers. Moreover, he can also flash his enemies which is great unless he flashes his teammates too. Like we said, he is a tad bit difficult to master!

The bug allows Yoru to use his guns just before his ultimate timer ends which is originally unintended. In fact, Yoru can literally start shooting while he is invisible to his enemies which is a huge advantage in everyone’s opinion. However, this isn’t the only time Yoru has proved to be so mischievous.

Back in 2021, Yoru was disabled from the competitive queue due to a game-breaking bug that allowed him to plant spikes outside of accessible map areas using his ‘Gatecrash’ ability.

Recent patch and several more failed to stop Yoru fans in Valorant

Apparently, Riot has been trying to fix Yoru’s ultimate animation since patch 4.07, which came out in April. The team mentioned in the 4.07 patch notes, that they were able to fix the bug where “Yoru could use a weapon immediately at the end of his ultimate by exploiting an unwanted interaction with ropes”. However, big-brain and persistent fans had no plans of stopping!

Soon enough, Yoru Mains were able to break through the patch 4.07 to bring back the bug. Riot followed up with a 4.08 patch that addressed the bug again alongside more agent updates. But, Yoru was back – every time!

Consequently, Riot Games addressed the problem again in their latest patch 4.11 released a day before. The team even mentions how the community is managing to find loopholes every time!

“Some of you creative types continue to find new ways to trigger variants of this bug since the last few patches. Fixing these loopholes is intended to improve systems that are used by all abilities in the game. Because of this (in addition to the bad experience of getting shot by invisible Yoru), we are keeping a close eye on the results of these changes.” The patch note read.

Did it finally solve Yoru’s, Dimensional Mystery? Not a chance!

Several creators uploaded videos of them breaking through patch note 4.11 in Valorant. With Yoru, players can again shoot enemies while invisible. All they have to do is enter Dimensional Drift, go near a rope, and just before the timer ends, hit F + 1 keys. Here’s a viral video of the reproduction in action:

It’s funny how Riot is struggling to stop the community from finding loopholes in Yoru’s Ultimate. Even after three patches, the notorious bug in Valorant still stands strong!
