Starfield has finally launched, and fans cannot stop talking about it. Bethesda’s latest game is all about space travel and exploration, but with a narrative flair. That’s exactly what fans expect from a Bethesda game in the first place.

But many are somewhat disappointed by Starfield’s supposed limitations. Limitations such as not being able to explore the whole planet and too many hiccups before space travel can actually start. But a fan seems to have just proved that planet-to-planet spaceship travel is, in fact, possible!

No doubt it’s a massive game, and no doubt Bethesda has put a lot of work into this title. But there are some small things that fans are not loving about this game. But a streamer known as “Charalanahzard” decided to see what happens when someone goes above and beyond and flies to a planet on their own. They set the course for Pluto and started flying towards it. After setting the course for that planet, they even set an alarm for 7 hours so they could check the progress.

After seven hours of waking up and correcting the ship’s ever-changing course on the planet, they just bumped into it and simply passed through it. Hence, proving the fact that this planet was nothing but a sprite that players could not interact with at all. Maybe this is why players are not encouraged to fly around space freely; most of the planets are not really there.

Bethesda might have fulfilled the promise of over a thousand planets to explore, but it looks like they have decided to crowd their game’s universe with a bunch of sprites to make it look a little better.

The competition does it better, but is it worth it?

People are seen discussing how No Man’s Sky nails space travel because it features numerous real planets to actually fly to and land on. But they do not understand the fact that Starfield and No Man’s Sky are very different in a number of ways.

For one, Starfield is a much more curated experience; it has fleshed-out quests, a really lengthy and well-written story, and characters that have actual dialogue. On the other hand, No Man’s Sky has a bunch of planets, but they are not as curated; hence, every planet out there is different on the surface but very similar when one goes about exploring it.

Starfield and No Man’s Sky have their limitations, but it is pretty unfair to compare them on the basis of the content that they have to offer.
