The legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is only a few months away from its launch. And we still hear of fans that have yet to complete the predecessor Breath of the Wild. Its numerous shrines, cooking ingredients, recipes, armor, weapons, and secrets have kept players from moving on.

As if this was not enough, some developers have decided to add even more stuff to this game! A bunch of modders are working on a mod called The Legend of Zelda: Second Wind. This mod would add much more than a few enemies and classic items to this already huge game. New areas, quests, and much more would make their way to The Breath of the Wild through this mod.

Could the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Save Nintendo Switch by Becoming 2023 GOTY?

The developers are treating this mod as a full-fledged expansion of this game. Rather than just dropping in a bunch of new areas and weapons into the game, the developers are actually working on a bunch of detailed shrines with thorough puzzle trials.

Alongside adding a new story mode and all the abovementioned things, the developers have also made a bunch of improvements to the game’s visuals. It already looked nothing short of beautiful, but the developers of this mod have the intention to one-up that.

Will the mod release before the sequel?

It’s exciting to see this game still getting so much love from fans this long after its launch. Of course, this kind of craze for a game is nothing new. Fans still play games like GTA V and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and even mod them to make their experiences better.

It is not yet known when the mod will be out, but let us hope it releases before the sequel launches. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would be launching in May 2023 and we know fans would be focusing on that if this mod takes too long to come.
