In a shocking twist of events, Only Up! creator Indiesolodev removed the game from Steam, owing to the creative pressure of working on a title as massively popular as Only Up all by themselves. This means any gamer wanting to buy the title can longer do so.

In a message Indiesolodev left on Steam, they explained the story behind the game. The game that would see millions of views on streaming platforms was the first experience for Indiesolodev in the field of game development. As a result, they made mistakes in some instances and felt the constant stress and creative pressure from the game.

Indiesolodev explained their decision on Steam, saying, “The game has kept me under a lot of stress all these months. Now I want to put the game behind me. And yes. the game won’t be available in the Steam store soon, that’s what I decided myself. “

In the end, Indiesolodev decided to remove Only Up! from Steam, taking a small breather while they hone their game development skills. The fans of Only Up left positive news, revealing work had already begun on a new project. A title called “Kith” is in the works. As they describe it, it will have a “new experience and a new concept with realism” as well as a big focus on cinematography. More importantly, Indiesolodev learned from Only Up and has a team working on the project.
