Assassin’s Creed Origins released four years ago, in 2017, and was a big success in terms of global sales for Ubisoft. On December 21, while celebrating the annual Assassin’s Creed Day, the publisher announced an update for Origins.

In the official tweet, it was mentioned that the developing team is currently working on bringing 60 FPS support to Assassin’s Creed Origins. While revealing the announcement, Ubisoft also thanked fans for being part of the growing community in the legendary series.

Ubisoft didn’t share any release dates for the FPS update. They will be made available later, in the coming months, hopefully.

Overall, this is great news for people who loved the 2017 installment. They will be able to enjoy the title in a smoother experience, while attempting the leap of faith in Origins.

Ubisoft has a habit of always providing key updates to some of the best Assassin’s Creed games. Earlier this year, in August, it brought 60 fps support for 2018’s iconic AC: Odyssey, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S through backwards compatibility.

Furthermore, Valhalla’s next expansion, Dawn of Ragnarök, is scheduled to make its way in 2022. Interestingly, the team of Ubisoft Sofia, that also worked on Assassin’s Creed Origins expansion Curse of the Pharaohs, is working on it.
