The first look of the actual gameplay is finally here in a new video teasing the upcoming Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life. Well, this is an official collaboration between Disney and Rare that brings Pirates of the Caribbean and Sea of Thieves together in one frame. A brand new adventure sees Captain Jack Sparrow sailing in from beyond the horizon to sweep players into a blockbuster adventure. It is split across five incredibly tall tales packed with thrilling secrets and side quests. It will be available for free to all players who own the game on Xbox.

On Sunday, June 20, from 7 Pm BST, Rare will be hosting a special showcase to have a closer look at the adventure, antics, and adversaries that await in Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life.

A glimpse of the story in Sea Of Thieves: A Pirate’s Tale

The new trailer shows off brand new costumes, location, treasure, and enemies. In the new trailer, we get a glimpse of the story we’ll engage with. The brand new adventure starts with busting Captain Sparrow out of prison. After that, you will witness the world’s greatest pirate treasure, which our captain Jack has stolen. From there, you’ll join him on a new adventure treasure quest to protect the good people from the dark forces.

The dark forces are led by none other than Davy Jones himself. It seems like Davy Jones is quite a huge problem here to deal with. Other enemies such as Sirens, phantoms, and ocean crawlers are also there to increase the difficulty. Witness the power of Pirate treasure and battle Davy Jones to prove who is the best of them all. Players will have complete freedom to approach the world, and even other players, however, they want.
