Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: World War II was one of the best COD titles to release in recent years. The critically acclaimed title had an excellent story and engaging multiplayer modes that featured the fan-favorite Zombies mode. It was received with open arms by the community and received praises for much of what it had to offer. WWII became the highest-grossing console game of the year in North America.

While everyone who loves FPS titles was busy playing the game, it also made its way to the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company’s office in the popular show ‘The Office.’ And if you’re wondering who the worst player amongst the hysterical characters could have been, here’s what you need to know.

Pam? Phyllis? Jim? Stanley? Or is it someone else who takes the crown of the worst COD player?

It is fair to say Dwight Schrute would be the greatest Call of Duty player in the Scranton branch because of his obsession with being the best at everything and because of his barbaric ideas and “natural” instincts.

However, this particular event in an episode takes place at Jim Halpert’s new workplace, Dunder Mifflin’s Stamford branch.

Season 3 sees Jim Halpert, portrayed by John Krasinski, transfer to a new branch, the Stamford branch. It is now a tradition to play Call of Duty: World War II in what Jim mentions as a “team-building” exercise. So the crown of the worst player can only go to the relevant characters such as Jim himself, Andy Bernard, Karen Filippelli, and more.

Even though the fans would have loved to see Stanley rage quit COD like Dr Disrespect, the writers stuck to their rib-tickling script. To cut things short, unfortunately for fans, there is one thing Jim is not good at and it’s Call of Duty. And he is the definition of the word “noob” or “newbie,” when it comes to COD.

Jim’s struggle with Call of Duty

Jim can clearly be seen struggling with the basics of the game, killing his own teammates. On the other hand, the entire office is owning the battlefield and no-scoping enemies with the Kar98K.

And the writer’s attention to the details in this episode is incomparable. While discussing strategies for their next play, Josh Porter, Jim’s boss, states, “You don’t snipe in Carentan,” which is true if you have played WWII.

The award-winning sitcom ‘The Office’ is the American adaptation of the original British variant. The show won 5 Primetime Emmys, but it’s safe to say they are better actors than gamers.
