Fortnite breaks the all-time record for the concurrent player count

Recently, on August 25, 2023, Fortnite launched Chapter 4 of Season 4, called The Last Resort. In this chapter, Fortnite has broken the record for the most concurrent players.

In Chapter 4, as of now, this epic battle royale title has peaked at a concurrent player count of 2.81 million players on the third day of the ongoing season. The player count on the previous two days of season 4 was 2.43 million and 2.73 million, respectively. This breaks the previous record, which was set in season 3. The concurrent player counts for the first 3 days of season 3 were 1.94 million, 1.87 million, and 2.12 million, respectively.

This staggering record would be much higher, as this benchmark doesn’t consider the creative mode. This metric is only based on the Zero Build Battle Royale and OG Battle Royale modes.
