Xbox is one of the pioneers in normalizing the subscription model for games. Currently, they offer two subscriptions. Firstly, Xbox Live Gold is a monthly membership plan that gives you a couple of free games a month, along with online play. In fact, this subscription mainly focuses on providing online multiplayer features.

On the other hand, Xbox’s Game Pass is a subscription that gives you “over 100 high-quality games for console and PC, and an EA Play membership, all for one low monthly price.”

Xbox updates the list of games with new ones added every month. The gaming giant recently took to Twitter to announce the star-studded lineup they have curated for April 2021.

Grand Theft Auto 5

The fifth edition of Rockstars criminal mastermind game will feature in this month’s game pass. It brings together Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor, people from three very different walks of life. However, they all have the same goal: to get filthy rich. You will have to utilize their various skills to pull off one of the biggest heists in Los Santos.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War

This game is set in “1940s Europe, as you fight to save humankind from undead Armageddon!” Players must take on an army of Hitler’s undead soldiers who you must defeat to “uncover a sinister plan that takes the Survivor Brigade across Italy and beyond!” The game has some futuristic weapons and features a multiplayer campaign of up to 4 players.

NHL 21

This EA sports title will be added to the collection on April 12. Ice Hockey fans can take their game to the next level this month with EA’s latest installment in the NHL series. Furthermore, the game combines an improved AI hockey IQ with better goalie control and positioning to bring the most realistic and responsive edition of the game so far.

MLB The Show 21

This baseball game is one of the most anticipated games to release this month. In a recent blog post, Xbox announced, “We’re delighted to announce that MLB The Show 21 is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one and will be available on April 20 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as on Android phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) for Ultimate members.”
