The third T20 international between India and West Indies is currently on and with both sides winning one match a piece, this becomes a very important match for both the teams to win the series. India lost the toss and was put to bat by the Windies captain.

With openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma on crease, India went off to a flying start. Both were very comfortable with the bat and India was able to reach 50 within the fifth over. With both batsmen set, it looks like India is all set for a remarkably big total. But it was something else that we will count as the highlight of the opening few overs. It was the fifth over and Rohit Sharma was on strike facing bowler Khary Pierre. Rohit hit the ball fare and square and it looked like a definite six. However, the incredible fielder that Evin Lewis is, he was able to stop the ball from crossing the boundary line. Not only that, he ALMOST caught the ball, but ultimately had to push it back in because of losing his balance. The two batsmen were very careless about running and could only manage a couple of runs and that too when Rahul pushed Rohit Sharma for a double. Lewis was so brilliant that he even made Rohit Sharma stretch and dive because of his remarkable throw to the wicket keeper.

The match being held in Wankhade, is Rohit Sharma’s strongest ground. India looks to set to score a big target with both the openers set. All in all it looks like a cracking finale we have here for the T20 series between the two giants of the sport. Even if the Indian batsmen manage a mammoth score of 200+, their bowlers won’t be very comfortable considering the hitting power of the West Indies batsmen and the form that they are in.
