Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, does not need an introduction, especially in the world of F1. Hamilton’s incredible achievements in the sport also allowed him to become a global star. Hamilton is not just synonymous with F1 anymore, but also with fashion and music.

Unfortunately, former three-time world champion Jackie Stewart believes Hamilton should focus on his other talents now. The Brit believes Hamilton is an exceptional driver but might be past his prime now. Hamilton already has a challenge on hand with a faster teammate and it is only going to get worse, feels Stewart.

“He has other passions such as music and culture, he likes clothes and in that he can lose his soul and bliss. I’m sure he would be successful in the fashion world, because he already earns a lot of money with it,” said Stewart.

And added, “I’d like to see him step down now. It’s a shame he didn’t stop at his peak. I don’t think he will now, but it would be wiser if he took his loss and didn’t feel the pain of not being able to do what he once could.”

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but we doubt Hamilton would listen to Stewart at the moment. The Mercedes man narrowly missed out on his record-breaking eighth championship title last season. And despite the poor state of the W13, there looks to be plenty of fight left in the 37-year-old.

Whether the Billion Dollar Man achieves the elusive eighth title before his retirement will be revealed in due time.
