Charles Leclerc would look to carry on with his newly found momentum. The Ferrari driver has started the second half of the season quite strongly. He finished in P8 in Spa, P5 in Zandvoort, P4 in Monza and P4 in Turkey. But heading into the United States Grand Prix in Austin, the Monegasque driver would hope for a podium finish. Leclerc finished in P4 the last time F1 raced at the Circuit of The Americas in the 2019 season.

As reported by Speedweek.com, the Ferrari driver is looking forward to racing at Austin. He mentioned he likes the track and the atmosphere at the circuit during the race.

” It has its own character and some bumps that, given the statements of the MotoGP riders, are probably a bit bigger than last time. Let’s see how it goes this time. I’m definitely looking forward to moving out here and I enjoy being here.” said Charles.

Leclerc has been in America for quite a while recently. He was spotted in New York before arriving in Texas for the race but mentions it was not planned.

“I was stuck at Nice Airport, so I had to take another flight. But in the end, it was pretty good because it gave me the chance to see New York,” said Charles.
