Charles Leclerc and George Russell are best of friends. Hence the two were pulling each other’s legs in Thursday’s press conference in the build to the French Grand Prix. Leclerc stated that he will have to 53 laps around the circuit, while Russell intervened to state that he will have a lap less, as he hasn’t completed any race this season on time.
However, Leclerc may seem to have jinxed himself, as he too finished the French Grand Prix with a lap down in sixteenth place. While Russell predicted his race as he too was a lap down. But the takeaway was that Williams driver achieved his best finish this season with a twelfth place position.
